With dumpsters, come trash. Once your dumpster is full of waste, you’ll need to have it removed from the property where you’ve been using it. It can feel overwhelming to think of options for how to do this. Luckily waste disposal comes in many shapes and sizes, and when working with us, you have options at your disposal. Yes, pun intended.
Let’s walk through some questions you might have about dumpster removal and their answers.
Who Takes Care of Pickup?
Short answer: We do. At ASAP, dumpster removal and corresponding trash disposal goes hand in hand. If you’re looking to have your dumpster and trash removed from the property where you’re using it, typically your first step would be to find a local hauler. However, we’ve got that step handled for you. When you rent with us, we’ll both drop off and pick up the dumpster. You do not need to be on-site during pickup. However if that is the case we ask that you provide detailed instructions and easy access to where the dumpster is located in order to avoid a potential dry run fee.
How Much Does Dropoff Cost?
When you work with ASAP, the cost of drop off is calculated at checkout based on various factors such as location and size and price of the dumpster you’ve chosen. Once you’ve submitted your order, we’ll send you an invoice prior to running payments to confirm that everything looks correct to you. We want to make sure you’re not overcharged for the cost of your roll off dumpster dropoff, which is why we make it a priority to offer competitive prices and optimal service.
How Much Does Pickup Cost?
We charge a flat pickup fee of $49 per roll off dumpster, which we’ll add to your bill at the time of removal. Additionally, for other products, we charge a one-time removal fee at the time of pickup of each item at the time of pickup, which we’ll add to your invoice after removal. How Do I Schedule a Pickup Date?
Scheduling pickup is simple. For both residential and commercial dumpster disposals, you have the option to choose a pickup date when initially placing your order. If you’re not sure what your pickup date will be when ordering, you can always set it up later. Once you’re ready to arrange for pickup, you can give us a call at 1-888-413-51051-855-928-3940. Our Advisors are trained to help you with any help or guidance you might need in regard to arranging for pickup. If there are special considerations that we should keep in mind when planning our pickup service, please let us know. For residential rentals, this could include any pet or lawn circumstances we should be aware of. For commercial rentals, this could include granting us access to private property.
How Do I Avoid a Dry Run Fee?
A dry run fee can be applied in a few scenarios, including canceling a scheduled roll off dumpster dropoff with little or no prior notice. This fee helps us compensate the vendor company for lost time. In the case of pickups, dry run fees can be applied if the driver is not accessible when scheduled. If our driver arrives and is denied access, you will be charged a dry run fee to pay for the wasted time.
How Else Can I Prepare for Pickup?
Some of the most important steps are to make sure your trash is not above the overfill line, to double check that you haven’t dumped hazardous waste items or other prohibited materials, and to close the top door securely and remove a tarp if you’ve been using one.
