Please be sure to specify what materials you plan on putting in the unit so we can plan accordingly. For example, drywall and insulation material sometimes require proof it is asbestos-free, and some appliances/pieces of furniture require an extra fee paid to the landfill.
The 30-yard dumpster is ideal for large amounts of waste, particularly if it is bulky. Some examples include:
- Furniture and appliances, including mattresses (although some landfills require an extra fee for this, so be sure to let us know ahead of time so we can let you know)
- Yard waste such as tree branches, bushes, and leaves
- Demolition and construction waste such as drywall, lumber, flooring, and insulation
When placing an order, please be sure to specify what materials you will be disposing of so our team can plan appropriately and help avoid any delays or unforeseen additional costs.
Heavy materials such as roofing shingles, concrete, and dirt cannot be put into 30-yard dumpsters as the unit will be too heavy for the truck to remove, or legally transport. More unacceptable materials include:
- Dirt or sand
- Large amounts of concrete
- Hazardous materials
- Appliances containing freon such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners
- Tires
- Paint and household chemicals
- Batteries
