We strictly prohibit all biohazardous or hazardous waste, including: 

• Pesticides
• Motor oil
• Freon
• Tires 
• Inks and resins
• Asbestos — be aware that drywall and insulation materials may require proof that they’re asbestos-free
• Etc. 

If you have questions about waste items, please discuss your projects with our teams, and we can advise on any potential issues. Including prohibited items can result in additional fees and the need to unload them before removal.

Permits are only required for placement on public property — including streets, sidewalks, parking areas, pathways, etc. — or anywhere that impedes public access.

Permits are not required when placing dumpsters on your property (driveway or yard) or at the rear of your residence or commercial building (with property owner approval).

Dumpsters should be placed on a hard, level surface with ample room to access both ends. You can place plywood below dumpsters to reinforce or protect the ground below.

• Public street parking or parking lots
• Sidewalk areas
• Walking paths
• Building sites
• Grassy areas or fields
• Any clear space without overhead power lines

Please note we can’t place dumpsters on slopes or inclines.

When you place your rental, our team will note delivery dates and where you’d like us to place dumpsters, and then we will take care of the rest. You do not need to be around or available for deliveries, but we ask you to leave a contact number in case our haulers need to reach you during drop-off. 

Dumpster bags typically have a capacity of 2.5 to 5 cubic yards, with most offering approximately 3 cubic yards of space.

Exceeding your allotted tonnage amount may result in additional charges. Our hauliers might request that you remove the excess materials for significantly overloaded containers that cannot be safely transported. (If an extra service is needed, it would require the rental of another container.)

Please note that heavy materials — like roofing shingles or concrete — in a 20-yard dumpster may only be filled to the halfway mark so the dumpster is not too heavy to haul away.

Yes, our haulers make efforts to recycle materials whenever possible. If your project will include a significant amount of recyclable materials, we can provide a dedicated container for these items, ensuring your recyclables are transported directly to recycling facilities.
