It’s best to reserve a portable toilet rental as far in advance as possible. During the busier warmer months, availability can be limited because of the increased number of events and construction projects.
Although the exact size varies by manufacturer, the holding tank of a standard portable toilet is between 50 and 70 gallons. For construction, we recommend 1 for every 10 employees. For a 4 hr event, we recommend 1 for every 50 guests.
Portable restrooms have to be placed on a dry, level surface and should be no more than 25 ft of where it can be serviced. We have certain restrictions based on accessing for service, but will do our best to accommodate your specific request.
Since not all portable toilets have a sink, our most recommended and popular accessory is hand sanitizer. This greatly improves the portable toilet experience, and keeps workers and event guests healthy in the process.
The hand washing stations are stand alone units and have a reservoir of fresh water. The units are stocked with hand soap and paper towels which is included in the price. The water is controlled by a foot pump at the base of the unit which supplies water to the spout when pressed.
For recurring units, we generate invoices every 28 days. If the unit is requested to be removed prior to the end of the billing cycle, there would be no additional fees.
After confirming the rental with the connected hauler, there is an email and text confirmation sent to the customer confirming the unit is on schedule and what day it will be delivered on.
The standard frequency of service is one time per week. Along with weekly cleaning, the supplies within the unit are replenished.
These units are wheelchair accessible restrooms that are A.D.A. compliant for use at an event or on a jobsite. They are larger than the average portable toilet and meet the standards that have been outlined by the ‘Americans with Disabilities Act’.
The process of winterizing a portable restroom is something everyone who manages events or construction sites in cold regions should be aware of. Temperatures are rarely below freezing long enough to harden the wastewater in the South and Southwest, but people in Northern states, the Midwest, or Canada should confirm that winterizing portable toilets is part of their rental agreement in the winter season. Our number one tip to keep your porta potty from freezing is to have us deposit a chloride pellet mix into the toilet bowl with every servicing. ASAP Marketplace will winterize your portable restroom rentals for a per-unit fee.
